What would happen if we had to go back to no electricity, no running water, no phone? How would people react? How many would adapt to survive?
Do you think the younger generations would make it?

That is a great and interesting question. There was a show on PBS for awhile that did just that – it took normal everyday city people and put them back in time so to speak. They had to churn the butter, take long horse rides for food and had no electricity. It was great show that showed how well people surprisingly adapted – even the kids. I think the trappings that we think we need and make such a fuss about are really nothing more than distractions that we think we need to pass time. But when all is said and done, all we really need is family and friends and the basics. I think now more than ever people are remembering that.
